Freedom Write Dinner

A group of Essie Sisters, friends, staff, and Program Team Members heard from Hamdyia Cooks, Dolores Canales, Marie Levin, and Azadeh Zohrabi on 6/7/16 about the importance of letters from and to incarcerated people in movement building. Attendees broke into groups to respond to Essie nomination letters from incarcerated people and come up with recommendations for our nominations response practices.
